Greetings Bulldogs,

On behalf of the faculty and staff of Rockdale County High School I want to extend a warm welcome to all our students and their families for the 2019-2020 school year. Students, I hope that you all had a wonderful summer, had the opportunity to read a few good books, rested, and are ready to get back to learning.
I am deeply honored to serve as the new principal of this wonderful institution, steeped in history and a foundation of the Rockdale County community. I have been a resident of Rockdale County for the past 13 years and view it as a privilege to be able to serve in my community. I am a veteran educator with 22 years of experience having served as a mathematics teacher, department chair, instructional coach, and assistant principal. I am excited about the opportunity to lead this institution in developing our children and providing them with the knowledge and skills to be competitive after their high school tenure.

The faculty and staff of RCHS is committed to providing world class instruction daily, with the expectation that all students can succeed. We will be engaged in several initiatives this year to promote student engagement and understanding of content.

We enter this year excited about the opportunities for growth and look forward to working with all stakeholders. As a family working together committed to achieving excellence, we are confident that we will be successful. With that mindset, our theme for this year is “We Are Rockdale”. All of us, students, parents, family members, community members, teachers, and administrators will be committed to school success and making Rockdale County High School a world class institution of teaching and learning.

I look forward to building relationships with all stakeholders throughout this year and encourage you to become active members of the Bulldogs family. It’s going to be an amazing year. We Are Rockdale!
