Rockdale County Public Schools believes it is imperative to ensure the alignment of all instructional materials, textbooks, and computer or other media-based materials. Between
January 10 – March 1, 2024, our ELA/Literacy team will hold a period of public review for the Kindergarten - 5th grade English Language Arts (ELA) resource adoption across the district. All teachers, leaders, parents, and community stakeholders will have an opportunity to review the digital resources that were provided by our vendors and complete a survey to collect feedback on which resource will best serve the needs of our learners for the upcoming school year. Please take some time to review the resources and share your thoughts with our ELA team
no later than Friday, March 1, 2024. All resources can be viewed digitally and onsite at each school or in the foyer at the Central Office. As the Georgia Standards for English Language Arts raises the level of expectation for teaching and learning, stakeholder feedback is critical. We encourage all stakeholders to provide feedback.
We truly appreciate your partnership and continued support to take a deeper look at what our district is considering for the future. Directions: After reviewing all resources, please use the survey links to record your feedback on the K-5 ELA resource adoption materials regarding content, assessment, pedagogy, and ease of use. For each, indicate the description that best describes how the digital curriculum meets the criteria listed below. List specific strengths and weaknesses in the comments space provided. These comments should support particularly low or high scores.
