Welcome to the Rock!
I am excited to serve ninth grade students and their families as the administrator of the 9th Grade Academy. I attended Fort Valley State University (B. S and M.S in Middle Grades Education) and Columbus State University (Ed.S in Educational Leadership). My passion for teaching and learning has allowed me to serve in the field of education for 20+ years serving in both traditional and non-traditional environments I am the parent of three children; therefore, I understand the importance of building positive connections between home and school while collectively developing the whole child. I firmly believe that every child can exceed. With that in mind, you can expect that I will work diligently and intently to make sure our students are successful and provided the necessary resources to support their social-emotional needs. As always, I have an open-door policy. I sincerely welcome your input and feedback. Let us keep our students the primary focus of our work.
