Good Afternoon, this is your Rockdale County High School weekly update.  Friday will be a B day. 

Varsity Soccer will host Archer Tuesday, and will be at S Gwinnett Friday; Varsity Baseball will host Central Gwinnett Monday, Kennesaw Mountain Tuesday, Chestatee Wednesday, and will be at Dacula Friday; the Track Team will be at Lakewood Stadium Saturday; the Tennis Team will host Archer Monday, Grayson Tuesday, Shiloh Wednesday and Thursday; the Golf Team will host Walnut Grove at Cherokee Run Tuesday, and will be at Newton Thursday. Come out and support your Bulldogs!

Attention All RCHS JROTC Cadets - Monday from 8:30 -12:00 All Cadets are to report to the gymnasium for Annual Unit Assessment Inspection.

Students, you are invited to come to the Color Guard Spin Days to learn how to spin and toss a flag and then try out for the award-winning RCHS Color Guard or Winter Guard.  Spin Days will be each Wednesday starting March 13th from 3:30-6pm in the band room.  Bring gym/athletic attire and tennis shoes to change into.  For more information see Mr. Brown or Mr. Jones in the band room.

Prom tickets for ‘Moonlight in Morocco” are currently available in the counseling office or from Mrs. Asberry before school in room 609. The cost for seniors is $100.  Juniors are $110, Sophomore and freshman tickets are $120.  Non-RCHS student tickets are $120.  Please see the school website for more information.  All students purchasing a Prom ticket must have all previous years Lost and Damaged Books, Sports and ROTC Uniforms, Band Fees, and Media Fines cleared for any items that belong to Rockdale County Public Schools. If you have questions, see Ms. Miller in the Media Center or Mrs. Owens in the Career Center in the front office of the Technology Building.

Students are you looking for an opportunity to grow your leadership skills in the Atlanta region? Are you a student who cares about traffic congestion, protection of natural resources, or the needs of older adults? If so, Model Atlanta Regional Commission is the perfect opportunity for you.   For more information, see Mrs. Owens in the Tech Bldg.

The 16th Parent Academy will be Saturday March 23 at RCA from 8:30am-1:00pm.  You can register by coming by the school office or RCA school office and filling out the forms.  There are lots of great classes and crafts to attend.  Childcare is provided for the your 3yr old or older.  Please register by March 15 and mark Rockdale County High School as your student school.  We hope to see you there for fun and information.  

Freshmen and Sophomores…..Would you like to visit New York City, Chicago, California, or Miami for free?  How about New Orleans, Orlando, or Alabama?  Maybe you’d like to even put a little money in your pocket.  Well, if this interests you, see Mrs. Owens in the Tech Building.  TRIO Upward Bound is looking for new participants who are interested in going to college, and those who would love visiting colleges around the Unites States. 

Yearbooks are still on sale for $65.  They can be purchased at yearbookforever.com or see Mrs. Brumback in Room 603.  The price will go up to $75 May 1.​​​​​​​
